Abstract

Real-time, on-line, systems for assessment of air pollutants dispersion can serve as powerful tools for aiding the emergency management in optimal decision making. For local scale diffusion purposes, puff models are used for real-time, on-line, diffusion calculation of the instantaneous dispersion scenarios. In this respect, the paper presents a modular system for assessment of air pollutants dispersion using the RIS0 RIMPUFF puff model.
