Abstract

A closed system of the equations for one-point probability density function (PDF) f,(Γ), surface density function (SDF) Σt,(Γ), and a conditional scalar dissipation rate (CSDR) Χt (Γ) have been derived and solved numerically. These equations were derived through the closed equation for the joint probability density function (JPDF) of a scalar and the value of its gradient, Pt (W, Γ) .
