Abstract

The paper presented deals with the formation of nitrogen monoxide in quasi-equilibrium air plasma of an induction discharge of a transformer type. It is possible to obtain nitrogen monoxide with a concentration of about 7% without using any quenching devices. The specific power consumption without using heat of gas mixture [NO + Air] is about 35 kW·h/kg (NO).
