Grammar Network as a Formal Basis for Modeling Signals and Protocols of Data-Computing Networks

ABSTRACT

A new class of formal grammar systems, i.e., grammar networks, is proposed for modeling signals and protocols of data-computing networks. Basic notions and definitions characterizing control rules and elements included into grammar networks are presented; common features of their application for modeling signals and protocols of data-computing networks are analyzed.
