    ABSTRACT

    The approximate solution of a dispersion equation for eigenmodes of the regular transmission line with impedance boundaries in high- and low-frequency approaches are presented. The relations for the cutoff-frequencies of asymmetric hybrid modes are derived. Dispersion properties of a two-layer dielectric waveguide in a circular metallic shield are examined.
