ABSTRACT

The propagations of ultra wide band (UWB) signals through walls are analyzed. It is shown that for propagation studies it is necessary to consider not only propagation for a single frequency but UWB signals have to be considered. The UWB radar output signals are formed both with transmitters and antennas as well. Moreover, UWB radar output signals can be substantially affected due to electromagnetic wave propagation through walls.
