The results from the experimental investigation into the double-periodic array comprising the metallic C-shaped stripline elements are presented. A measuring technique is described. A comparison is made between the measurement results and theoretical calculations. The most sharply defined resonances of electromagnetic (e.m.) wave transmission through an array are physically explained.
