    ABSTRACT

There is presented a system-level analysis of basic potentialities for developing a radio holographic system, which are governed by possibilities of phase binding (synchronization) of individual antenna positions to a common center of SHF-signal processing and control and possibilities of binding the positions to a common geometric system of coordinates. The following sequence is proposed for determination of path length of wave travel: from processing center to antenna position along synchronization line; from antenna position along perpendicular to the point of intersection with horizontal plane and from the latter along perpendicular to inclined plane a normal to which is beamed to target. Determination of the length of these path sections as accurate as 1/6 of wavelength, solves the problem of phasing (synchronization) and alignment of antenna of multi-position system at a preliminary stage or on a system level which is followed by phasing and alignment to real targets.
