Topological Decomposition of the Digital Map for Visualization on Mobile Terminal Equipment of Distributed GIS

ABSTRACT
Topological decomposition of a digital locality map into segments is analyzed. Main definitions are given, properties are formulated, and basic procedures are described. This decomposition lays a mathematical ground for visualization of digital locality maps on mobile terminal equipment of distributed geoinformation systems.
