    ABSTRACT

The initial absorption efficiency factor of the platinum thin-wire bolometer and its relative standard deviation have been calculated in dependence on relative standard deviations of the bolometer diameter, radiation wavelength and specific conductivity. The temperature dependence of the absorption efficiency factor is represented by a second-order polynomial, using the least-squares fit to determine only two coefficients. The error of representing this dependence has been reduced essentially.
