ABSTRACT

The diffraction of an arbitrary scalar wave by a spherical screen with a circular hole is considered in Dirichlet formulation, with studying the resonance and scattering characteristics obtained on a basis of the plane wave solution. Among other things, the mode-mode coupling is shown.
