    ABSTRACT

    A conventional coordinate-related approach to regularization of dual series equations in the basis of angular spheroidal function is being developed with the use of an 1 example of the acoustic-plane wave problem. This approach is similar to the method previously devised for dual series equations with a kernel on the form of the Mathien periodic functions. A new physical result is obtained pertaining to the effect the Helmholtz resonator shape on its resonant frequency.
