ABSTRACT

Expressions for calculating the eigen frequencies f, the partial (Q₁, Q₂, Q₃) and the eigen (Q₀) Q-factors of symmetrical H_0np oscillations of the resonator based on a below-cutoff waveguide with a double-layer coaxial dielectric element are obtained. The computations of f and Q are conducted for the H₀₁₁—oscillation in the centimeter and millimeter wavelength ranges. The influence of physical and geometrical parameters of the structure on the resonance frequency and the inherent Q-factor of the waveguide dielectric resonator is demonstrated.
