ABSTRACT

The operation of a SAR is analyzed for the near-field location of the radiation source. An algorithm is suggested for recovering the image in the near field zone of the radiator with account of phase distortions. Results are presented of modeling the operation of a noise SAR in the near-field of a horn radiator. The modeling permits an analysis of the discrepancies between the images that are revealed by different algorithms.
