ABSTRACT
This paper examines the application of a new tool for mathematical analysis, so-called atomic functions, to problems associated with the mathematical processing of speech. Processing methods based on atomic functions are distinguished by high accuracy, flexibility, and efficiency. Both the necessary preliminary information from the theory of atomic functions and specific applications to problems of synthesis of weighting windows and filters for digital speech processing are described.
