    ABSTRACT

Results of experimental investigation of parametric sensitivity of a Hall-effect contactless speed sensor, built into the automobile gearbox, in conditions of its non-optimal mounting have been presented. It has been established that the main static effects arising in this case include the reduction of the working air gap and modifications (deterioration) of the duty ratio of the output pulsed signal. Dependences of the maximum working air gap as a function of the sensor mounting errors have been obtained. Besides, a comparative analysis of mounting error effect on sensitivity of sensors made on Hall and magnetoresistive effects has been given.
