    ABSTRACT

Results of investigating the rotor rotational frequency influence on functional properties of the Hall-effect-based noncontact velocity transducer integrated into a vehicle gearbox are described. An experimental representation of the range of working values of the air gap in the transducer-rotor system as the rotor rotational frequency function has been obtained. To compensate reduction in the maximum operating gap conditioned by the influence of eddy currents in the high-frequency range, it is recommended to mechanically increase reverse bias.
