The formal statement of the problem of the formation of descriptions of threats to local security of the RF subjects is considered. The key conditions that determine the selection of mathematical methods for initial data processing have been identified. Comparative analysis of the known mathematical methods has been made, and a strategy of their use at various stages of the multi-agent system service life for the formation of threat descriptions has been determined.
