    ABSTRACT

Methods of assessment of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of radio-electronic facilities are characterized. Advantages and drawbacks of these methods are specified. A criterion for assessment of radio and telecommunication system EMC, charactering reduction of performance indicators of radio lines with admissible deterioration of communication quality as a result of electromagnetic situation (EMS) of the radio and telecommunication system, is proposed. EMC quality in the given EMS is assessed by the number of affected reception channels. Out-of-band emissions of neighboring RTS are used as unintended interference. During operation of REF facilities, the proposed criterion allows monetary assessment of the affected frequency range.
