Hancock ABSTRACT This article presents analysis and results of applying the Sacramento Soil Moisture (SSM) model to the San Francisquito Creek watershed located in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. The model is calibrated against 5 consecutive years of runoff data and then verified against the next 5 years of data. A sensitivity analysis is performed to determine how each input parameter influences the peak runoff from one of the largest storms of record that occurred within the watershed.
