ABSTRACT

Implementation of the system approach to design and analysis of the Grid-system functioning is proposed. The hierarchical structural model of the Earth observation Grid-system composed of several regional and specialized Grid-systems is constructed. On the basis of structural-functional analysis, the weakly formalized problem of the structure and productivity optimization of the node of complex hierarchical system is reduced to a number of discrete optimization problems. The approach proposed was approved while designing the real Earth observation Grid-system.
