Detection of a Target Being in the Search Zone at Random Time Intervals

ABSTRACT

We investigate the search problem of a target "pulsating" in some point of the search domain during random time intervals. To determine the probability of finding a target with the use of a large search system in the given time we use the mathematical tool of Markovian and semi- Markovian random processes.
