The method of estimating the local regularity of functions by the values of the coefficients of wavelet-transform with the generalized function is considered. The method is based on the notion of a generalized wavelet function. The sufficient conditions of the dependence of the local regularity of functions upon the coefficients of transform with the generalized wavelet functions are proved.
