    ABSTRACT

    We propose an approach to obtaining explicit expressions of the Frechet derivatives of the gradient methods for solving the coefficient inverse thermal conductivity problems for heterogeneous bodies. Our approach is based upon the direct and conjugate problems in weak formulations which are used in problems of optimal control of the state of multicomponent media.
