The algorithm of detection of fraudulent operations with plastic cards in a payment system is considered. The proposed approach uses the neuronet method of Kohonen’s self-organizing maps, which enables while learning to produce automatically the rules of transactions processing and periodically to improve them under the conditions of dynamically changing information in the computer-based system.
