ABSTRACT
The distribution of 90Sr, 137Cs, 238Pu, 239+240Pu, and 241Am in the main components of the lakes of the Krasnenskaya floodplain of the Pripyat river, including Lake Glubokoye and Lake Dalekoye-1 located within the exclusion zone of the Chernobyl NPS, was investigated in 1998-2003. Data on the content of radionuclides in the water, bottom sediments, seston, macrozoobenthos (including Bivalvia), Gastropoda, higher aquatic plants, and fishes are presented.
