Khudiyash ABSTRACT The changes in the linear-weight growth rate, the indices of spleen, liver and gonad and the condition factor in carps under action of high concentration of allochthonous nitrogen in ponds were analyzed during two years. The most clear negative manifestations of the influence of mineral nitrogen on fish were observed by the autumn and in winter. In spite of high growth rates of fishes in contaminated ponds for vegetation period, they stored up diminished amounts of reserve matters, and it resulted in their reduced by 19.0−41.8% survival in winter as compared to the control. The reproduction system of carp turned out to be not subjected to the influence of allochthonous nitrogen.
