Mel'nichuk ABSTRACT The toxicity of the herbicide "Norvel" (active component -quizalofop-p-ethyl, 50 g/L) for guppies Poecilla reticulatus, carps Cyprinus carpio, water fleas Daphnia magna and Ceriodaphnia affinis in the acute experiments has been investigated. Given herbicide causes narcotic and neuroparalytic effect on the test-objects mainly during the first day of the experiment. Ineffective concentrations for fish were 0.2-0.001 mg/L, for D. magna - 0.1 mg/L, for C. affinis - 0.001 g/L. Herbicide "Norvel" can be considered as toxic and very toxic for the investigated test-objects.
