ABSTRACT

Microbiological monitoring of the cascade of ponds located in the Aleksandriya dendropark (the town of Belaya Tserkov), in which the concentration of mineral nitrogen is one order of magnitude higher than that registered in hypertrophic water bodies, was carried out for the first time. Seasonal and spatial dynamics of the numbers of bacterioplankton and bacteriobenthos, and also their morphological characteristics, are discussed.
