ABSTRACT

Results of hydrological and hydrobiological investigations of the Konyk strait after transformation of its riverbed are presented. In the Konyk strait, the quality of water is better than that registered in the Dnieper river. A high productivity of the strait is favorable for the development of the fish fauna.
