ABSTRACT

It was shown that the optimal maintenance conditions and group crossings of mussels resulted in the highest growth and survival rates as compared to other types of crossing and autogamy. The ways of obtaining the pure lines are described. In cases of autogamy and closely-related crossings, the inbreeding depression is revealed at the periods of transition into the next stage of larval development.
