Dynamics of ¹³⁷Cs concentration factor in benthos-phagous fishes were studied in 1987-2003. Its values ranged from 190 to 3200. Various species of fishes differed in the dynamics of ¹³⁷Cs concentration factor. The studied water bodies differed in the content of ¹³⁷Cs by a factor of 10000. Valid relationship between the specific activity of ¹³⁷Cs in the water and ¹³⁷Cs concentration factor in benthos-phagous fishes was not established. Water bodies similar in their origin were closely similar in the concentration factor of ¹³⁷Cs registered in their fishes.
