ABSTRACT

The body of information submitted in this review is based on the data published during the past two decades. There are presented clinical manifestations, pathomorphology, pathogenesis, and circumstances promoting the prevalence of neoplasms among fishes. Along with these issues, the attention is focused on the viruses as the etiological carcinogenic factor. The significance of the subject matter of the present overview emphasizes the necessity of extending oncologic researches in ichthyopathology.
