ABSTRACT

The current state of macrozoobenthos of the Ukrainian section of the lower reaches of the Danube river was compared with that registered in the mid-1950s. It has been found that anthropic load on the ecosystem of the Danube river resulted in simplification of some structural indices of macrozoobenthos.
