Grubinko ABSTRACT General content and fractional composition of carp serum blood proteins under the influence of heavy metals (zinc, manganese, lead, and copper) in their 2 and 5 MPC concentrations were studied. Copper and lead exert the most considerable effects on proteins of carp blood. Concentrations of general protein in carp serum depend on toxicity of metal, its concentration, and a season of the year. The lowering of the level of albumins under the influence of the studied metals was noted. The seasonal dependence of the content of a-globulins liable to intoxication by heavy metals in the studied concentrations was revealed. The changes in contents of b- and g-globulins showed no clear dependence on a season of the year, and were connected only with specific character of the metal acted.
