    ABSTRACT

There were for the first time analyzed the problems of seasonal and age dynamics of invasion of two Baikal endemic species, Baikal oilfishes (golomankas, or golomyankas), with cestodes of the genus Proteocephalus. In particular, it has been shown that golomankas play the role of reservoir hosts for Proteocephalus exiguus parasitizing on omul (Arctic cisco) and whitefish. Principal peculiarities of infestation and regional distribution of invasion are considered.
