    ABSTRACT

Balance equations for the energy budget of young sturgeons at the optimum stationary temperature differ essentially from the existing generalized model specified for sturgeons. According to our results, the shares of food energy to growth and unused energy are higher, and a share of expended energy is lower than those in the existing generalized model. Periodic sine wave deviations of temperature from its stationary optimum values improve essentially the energy budget of experimental fish. The data obtained should be taken into account at improvement of aquaculture biotechnologies, particularly at commercial cultivation of young sturgeons.
