ABSTRACT

Main results of the study of zooplankton in the northwestern pan of the Indian Ocean carried out by the Institute of Biology of the Southern Seas, the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, are presented. The species composition and distribution of communities of zooplankton in the northwestern part of the Indian Ocean are rather constant, which is conditioned by the peculiarities of regional hydrology.
