Zueva ABSTRACT A mathematical model of a two-phase gas-droplet turbulent jet flow is presented; the model can also be used for analysis of turbulent gas jets with solid particles. This mathematical model allows calculations of flows with regard to the non-equilibricity of the phases by velocities and temperatures, phase transitions, polydispersivity, coagulation and breakup of droplets, and a multi-component composition of both the gas and fluid phases. An analysis of a jet with water droplets and of a jet with droplets consisting of a water-ethanol mixture has been performed using the developed mathematical model. The results of these calculations are compared.
