  • Method of Two Thermal Detectors for Measurement of High Fast-Changing Temperatures of Gas Flows

    ABSTRACT

A method of two thermal detectors for measuring non-stationary temperatures of gas flows is described. In the method, spectral analysis of thermal detector signals is used for determination of the temperature transducer (TT) ratio of time constant (T2/T1). Sources of errors in determination of the T2/T1 ratio are studied. Conditions allowing restoration of the TT time constant with measurement errors not higher than 5% are determined.
