Convective heat and mass transfer in the presence of heterogeneous chemical reactions is discussed. A method for calculating mass entrainment, surface temperature, and surface concentration of the reacting components has been developed. The dependence of these quantities on the temperature and density of the incident flow and concentration of active elements in it has been analyzed for different types of reactions.
