It is suggested that thermal destruction of materials containing organic substances be carried out in a vapor-gas flux in the course of combined processing using gas porous burners. The material put into the reaction zone is subjected to both intensive influence of radiative heat and direct contact of the combustion products of gas mixtures present in porous media, the so-called filtration combustion in superadiabatic regimes. The promising aspect of the proposed method of thermal destruction of materials containing organic substances is the possibility of developing highly efficient pollution-free technologies and compact mobile facilities to process various organic waste, including bulk and heavy ones, such as mechanical rubber, plastics, oily sludge, commercial lignin, and paintwork materials.
