Mosse ABSTRACT The results of experimental investigation of heat and mass transfer during a high-temperature synthesis of semiconducting doped lanthanum chromite powders in an electric arc plasmachemical reactor operating with a triple-torch mixing chamber are presented. Dimensionless dependences for heat transfer of a gas-droplet flow in the reactor channel (precursor is a sprayed nitrate solution) and characteristics of water evaporation rate, volume heat transfer, oxide microparticle vaporization under air plasma conditions are established for a wide range of plasmachemical processing parameters.
