Lukashevich ABSTRACT The theoretical and experimental aspects of thermal processes occurring in manufacture of bimetallic constructions by means of the frosting of wearproof alloys on bearing elements are considered in this paper. The mathematical model is developed and results of numerical simulation of three-layer half-closed area with account for melt crystallization are received. The experimental research of frosting speed and thickness of the coating layer, the mechanism of fluxing of bearing surfaces, temperatures on the border of a solid body and melt depending on the operating parameters and generalization of empirical data is carried out.
