Ivanitskii ABSTRACT A modified integral method of solving nonlinear problems of nonstationary heat conduction is discussed. The method ensures correct description of the temperature field in a liquid in the vicinity of a sphere in the cases where a heat flux through the interphase surface periodically changes its direction. The use of the equations of the modified integral method for numerical analysis of the dynamics of an oscillating vapor bubble makes it possible to obtain more accurate and reliable information on heat and mass transfer processes in the phenomena of cavitation.
