    ABSTRACT

Numerical investigations of hydrodynamic and heat and mass transfer processes which control the single bubble behavior in vapor cavitation phenomena have been performed. The influence of various operating parameters on the amplitude values of dynamic parameters has been considered. It is shown that the extremely powerful dynamic effects in vapor cavitation phenomena are conditioned by a very short duration of energy transformation at the final stage of the cavitation bubble collapse measured in nanoseconds.
