Nakoryakov ABSTRACT We present the result of simulation of related heat and mass transfer processes in absorption of vapor by a solution flowing down a tube stack. The use of self-similar solutions over the initial thermal section and precise analytical solutions in sections with a linear temperature profile is substantiated. An example of calculation for a multipass absorber is given. The change in all local heat and mass transfer characteristics is analyzed over the depth of the tube stack.
