Antyukhov ABSTRACT The results of experimental and theoretical studies of heat transfer and hydrodynamics in the dispersed mode of film boiling of liquid nitrogen in tubes are presented. The results of experiments and their generalization for flow of saturated liquids under steady and unsteady conditions of cooling in vertical channels are considered. Generalizations of experimental data on size-distribution of droplets, heat transfer and friction on the phase interface are obtained. The relation for calculation of heat transfer in interaction of droplets and vapor with the channel wall with allowance for turbulence of the lifting phase is obtained.
