Gortyshov ABSTRACT The results of experimental investigations of an ebullient liquids flow in variable-section channels are given. The experiments were made with water, carbon dioxide, and nitrogen. The set of data on the structure of a two-phase flow, static pressure in the channel, flow rate, and reactive jet pulse was used to obtain data on conditions of the vapor phase generation. The temperature of the liquid phase was determined by the method of indirect measurements and the dependence for calculating superheating implemented in the processes of adiabatic discharge of ebullient liquids was suggested.
