ABSTRACT

This article deals with a comparison of the old and new directives and main directions to improve laws on electricity and natural gas. The directions are set in accordance with requirements of the new European Union Directives 2003/54/EC, 2003/55/EC and Regulation No. 1228/2003, with the Lithuanian situation is taken into account as well.
